Re-emerging with Tales from Land, Sea, and Air!

Hello Toastville!

We've been rather absent of late, haven't we? But rest assured, it was for all the right reasons. Our very own Caroline has been tangoing with the tides in Belize, neck-deep in a fascinating probe into microplastics and marine conservation, all while managing to guide a study abroad course. Talk about juggling jellyfish!

Meanwhile, I've (Utkarsh) been wrestling with the behemoth called comprehensive exams, a necessary hurdle to leap forward in my PhD journey. As of now, I find myself in the familiar warmth of my home, gearing up for a hands-on exploration of river conservation in India.

This newsletter hasn't been gathering dust, either. We've been cooking up some tantalizing stuff just for you. The curtain raiser for our upcoming bonanza is the debut of Rosie White, our first guest writer, who'll be sharing a slice of her Earth Day escapades. Next up, our intrepid marine explorer Caroline should be beaming her Belizean tales back to us, and I am on tenterhooks for that one! And don't forget, you'll be hearing from yours truly about commercial electric planes, as I muse on my annual globe-trotting flights between the US and India.
